Flags?

I am not supporting anyone, nor am I not not supporting anyone.

A few years ago my sister suddenly had the idea to count flags. This year... I just feel there's less flags. And now that I'm counting them with my other sister, it's a real shame.

I liked the planes. As usual we rushed out to see the planes fly really low. And it's was really funny coz my mum was using her com to watch the parade live on the net, and the com was on the dinner table outside. So it's like, the sky was just there, and we ran out to see the planes, run back to the table to watch again. And our neighbors were there too. Can you imagine it?? 'Bout 8 or 9 people running back and forth looking out for planes!

However... The parade, My dad told me once there was a parade that kept singing all the childhood songs, like chan mali chan (oioi!!), and the crowd was singing along to all the songs. (I think I remember that parade...) But this year... six or seven screens behind the performers, that didn't have much link to the people dancing, though some did link. And the dancers... though old and young have joined in to do it, which is kinda nice really, the dance moves?! Jump at this point, run about, wave your arms up and down?

Nothing really made sense... I understand it's got to be really hard to organise and all that, and it's really hard to be the dancers themselves, and I don't know if I can do a better job. But really... I think that it should have been carried better. Things should connect with each other, and not leave people thinking; 'What?'. But the statues were cool.

And the commentators!!! SO irritating! They just wouldn't stop talking!! It's like, You're trying to listen to the people singing, but you only hear them talking!! I mean, the infomation they give is quite... informing. But honestly! Even during the display of WATER they were talking!!

I really really liked it when the two planes flew at each other! The planes were really really cool. And I heard that those planes could, at full speed, cross Singapore in a minute!

Overall... I think it wasn't the best that could have been done...But it was a good performence on the dancers part, and excellent manovering on the pilots part.
