What's wrong with Westlife?

My mum and dad hate Westlife, whereas I like them. And I keep asking myself, what the hell is wrong with them? They do steal songs, they've done two cover albums and some of the songs they choose really wasn't very good, but their voices are quite good. In fact they're very good. They've written a few songs, not much but a few.

They started when they were about 16 or 17, until now, almost at their 30s, they've done many gigs, sometimes, they dance, but most times they just sit, and then at a point they stand and sing, they've actually tried Pussycat Dolls ' Don't Cha', which was very weird, the way the danced wasn't very good.

And, after a particular song, they'd do a strip tease, where the take their jakects off, a glove, and pull their jeans down to show their underpants to the crowd, and then leave the stage. I think that's very stupid, but you hear a lot of screaming.

But they songs they don't steal, or some of the cover versions, are actually quite good. Like Bop Bop Baby, Evergreen, I Don't Wanna Fight, Queen Of My Heart. And a cover version I like is Uptown Girl.

I do not understand why they have to hate Westlife. Why must they hate them?
