Christmas Tree

Today the Tree came. Still wondering bout the name. It was supposed to come from 9 to 12, but it came at 135. Nothing wrong with coming late. Except that this is a tree, and the truck that it was carried in was not air-conditioned, and the cut that you have to make in order for the tree to take in water had been made long before it was delivered.

This means, the tree spent at least 4 hours in the truck in the sun, meaning heat, meaning water going out, meaning the tree goes brown. The cut has got no use at all because you're supposed to put it into water in an hour after the cut, so we've lost some height of the tree, and the tree isn't taking in any water right now because there wasn't any time today to make a cut ourselves, so the tree loses water and there's a higher chance of the tree dying before Christmas.

BUT! It's a good tree, I went out and came back and I COULD SMELL THE PINE. Oh man I just love the smell of pine. It's still tied up though. It can be let down once we make another cut. Height isn't really important. But you know, if you can have a tree, it's one of the times you can't really screw up with it, so you want the height to be the same, you want it to have a good shape, not to bushy, NOT bare, all just a matter of taste. But I like the tree, it's finally here! and Chirstmas is on it's way.

2008 will become 2009 soon, another year will pass, and life goes on.

BLEH!! That's so soap-opera!! But life goes on! The tree will look good. Why? Because it's in my home that's why. It'll be our tree for the time being, and it'll be where we hide loads of stuff in it, and we'll have loads of fights about whose turn it is to put up the lights and deco. It's our tree and it's the best tree. HA!
