ITE

I'm in ITE and I'm proud of it.

Haha it's taken me a long time to say that. I was proud of being in ITE, but I was embarressed that it's ITE coz it's where all the normal tech ppl go to, but then I realized, in my course, the piece of paper won't mean a shit if I can't bake properly, and for the ppl who care that it's a school that normal tech, weird, and depressed ppl go to, f**k off! You will not have what we have; defiance!

Now that the boring speech is over, PICTURES!!

This is of me and a friend. She's in the same class but she's wayyy older! She's really funny sometimes and really nice, very easy to be with.

These are Canadians who came to our school, they were scouting, hopeing to find a school to do a exchange program. Look at the guy! He's got dregs!

Oki this is me, with long hair.

Oki so it's not that long! It used to be though. Haha.

This is me outside the hairdresser, just before I cut my hair.

And this is after.

Haha!!
No one knows why I did it, but I did. It wasn't for the cancer thing, though I wanted to keep the hair for it (when I saw it on the floor I couldn't pick it up; it gave me the creeps), it wasn't because it's bloody hot here, it's just coz it's there, and I can cut it. So I did.

This is the barber who shaved my head. Funny guy haha!! He has very nice eyes ya?

Passion Play

Gosh it's been so long I've had so many things happening!

First! The Passion Play.
It's basically a play about Jesus' death, done on Good Friday. It walks you through the twelve Stations of the Cross. It's a good experience. Photos!!

This is of a friend who played Veronica and of my best friend who was a Woman of Jerusalem just before the play.

This is our Director, this is the pose he held for a long time yelling at us what to do, how to look, who comes out, blah blah. He's a nice guy.

this is My dad and I after the play, this photo was a little nerve recking coz the guys were behing the camera man and they were staring at us so I got a little self-conscience. :)

The two guys, the one in white is very serious and he's very strict so it was shocking, for me anyway, to see him acting like a goof in a dress. The one in blue is a bloody tall guy (who has a sexy voice when he has a sore throat!) and is very sweet when he's not being an ass. They were wearing dresses that were for the girls.

But I told then to change dresses coz the tall guy had on the short dress and the short guy had on the long dress, so the tall guy looked goondy and the short guy was tripping over his dress.

Volia:

It was the short guy's idea to put his arm around the tall guy.

And this was before he changed into the blue dress.

Yup that's it. I really enjoyed it. And I'd do it again if I had the chance. :)

Besides that, my school started on the 13th of April, Monday, 2009. Oh man I'm so happy there! I'm in ITE West Clementi. ITE coz I refused to study for my O's. 'Luckily', that particular ITE is for hospitality, so there aren't that many 'bad' ppl, just a few irritating ppl you find everywhere. No fights or anything like that.
Kind of a blessing in diguise that I'm in ITE. I wouldn't be able to keep up with the poly teachers, I'd have no patience with them if they're like my brother and sister's 'teachers'.

Photos!!

This is of me and a really nice guy from school. We talk sometimes and he's a very down to earth guy who makes me laugh sometimes. And no, there's nothing going on between us, he's got a girlfriend.

This is my partner in the kitchen, me, and a friend. My partner is very quiet and I like the sound of her voice :), very soft but like, you know not to push her, but you just like her.

This is of me and my bro. It was meet the parents session on the 20 of may, and we were in the walk in chiller (cool huh? we have a walk in chiller!), and he just said, make your face like this, and he pulled it. I tried but I laughed.

Then this is me with my Ma'am and Sir. They're very very nice, nicer than I expected to be honest. I spend more time with Ma'am coz she's the one who's in charge of us so yup. She's very understanding and she helps a lot. She also scolds a lot! Sir is very very funny when he makes jokes, and he loves baking and you can see that when he's doing the actual baking or decorating. I've seen him decorate and honestly you can see how he loves it.

This is me in my 'full suit' and I'm very proud of it.(:

Passion Play

I was in a passion play. Yay!! I'm so happy. It was also a real honour to do it because I had the role of Mother Mary.

It was so awkward coz the guy who was play Jesus had a girlfriend, and he was laying on my lap. And like, the first time we see each other, I'm holding his face, he's lying on my lap. Ha ha!

Here's a picture after everything is over:
From left to right, a girlfriend, who had the role of Veronica, a boyfriend, my best friend and sworn sister, who played one of the women of Jerusalem, then me. My sworn sister had taken off her head veil and I had taken off the head veil and scarf.

If your wondering why I look bored, I was about to smile; the camera clicked a bit too fast! I wasn't bored!!

This was the first time Mary was supposed to show herself on stage, I came out and my entire family snorted with laughter:

I had to hold his face with my right and I had to put my hand on my chest with my left. So it was quite awkward

This is when the character playing Jesus was placed on the character playing Mother Mary:

She was just raising her arms to receive him:

The guard just placing him on her lap:

Jesus laying on Mary's lap:

When I told my family I had the role of Mother Mary, my entire family said, I quote, "YOU". Everyone.

Then when I walked out for the first time on the day itself dressed as Mother Mary, my mum snorted very loudly, so loudly I heard it and wondered what it was! When I get the pictures, the good ones, I'll post it up, and I'll explain what Passion Play is, and what it means. I got to go and sleep now. But I'm not sleepy!

Way After Christmas

Christmas over, the world’s still in routine. Do you think if allowed, it will go back to what it was before? But without man, the world will be like every other planet, beautiful, untouched, and lonely.

How loud is a planets voice? Do you think Gaia can speak? People seem to think so. The world is so big; it must have a voice right? What about the small things? Ants, do you think they cry when the queen dies? Or when ants get killed by insecticide, when colonies of ants get removed by excavation? What about when they get eaten by an anteater. But they, like humans, pollinate their land, fight when other ants enter their colony, and worship a queen. What’s the difference? What’s the difference between Gaia and ants? One’s big, the other small?

What is the difference? Why do we spend time protecting animals, the dead and gone, the earth, when we should be doing something about weapons, tanks, everything else like that.

I hate it when people smoke. They’re killing themselves and there’s nothing I can do about it. When someone is killing someone else, it’s bad, yes, but there’s a good guy and a bad guy. The smoker’s the bad guy who’s killing the good guy; himself/herself.

Lent

It's the time of Lent, it's leading up to Easter, with easter bunnies! nah I'm just jokin. We don't have Bunnies here. Don't like them much to be honest. Easter is the resurection of Jesus Christ, which means, that he had died, and on Easter, he'll rise from the dead.

I find, that it's so interesting that trees 'breath out' oxygen, and 'breath in' carbon dioxide, while we breath out carbon dioxide, and take in oxygen.

Mother Mary was the first Giftbearer.

Sweeney Todd

I love Sweeney Todd. It gave me the creeps and shivers, but damm, it's a good story. Lame story line though, on it's own, it's just another story, it's the singing that does it. If you haven't seen the concert version, which is what I'm talking about, Here it is:

As for the movie version, buy it! I can't find it on youtube. Haha!

Stuff

I like Enya. Lord Of The Rings is my favourite book, John Ronald Reuel Tolkien. I find he writes better than Harry Potter, J K Rolling, coz I find, though her storyline is good, she repeats the words a lot, especially the last book, because her editor or someone gave her a deadline, which is the stupidest thing to give to a writer. Whoever gave it was an idiot and didn't know what he/she was doing. Look how badly the last book turned out? Words wise I mean. Storyline, as I said, is good.

Lord Of The Rings is long winded, I agree, but I like it much better than Harry Potter. The way he, John Tolkein, writes, he tells his story with what he believes, if he believes Fatty Bolger is supposed to be brave, and stay behind, he writes it down; if he wants a character like Quickbeam, then he'll put it in. He changes scenes, as in, from one group to another, like from Frodo and Sam, to Aragon and the others; at the right time, it made me think that I wanted to continue that part before I moved on.

So lets say, I'm reading about Frodo and Sam, then John Tolkein goes to Aragon and the others, and I want to just flip foward to Frodo and Sam again, but I don't because then it'lls poile it you know?

Many books, Harry Potter series included, change scenes too quickly, so even though the writers want that kind of tense feeling from the readers, they don't achive it, because they just change it too fast.

John Tolkein, though it is considered lame nowadays, was a big achivement last time because anyone with a good imagination wasn't allowed or wasn't given the chance or was thought mad when he/she voiced it. Or something like that. And Tolkein invented a new world. Not many writers do that, there is always a sense of reality in the story.

Peter Jackson, the director of the movie Lord Of The Rings, took a lot of things out from the book. Directors always do that. Chronicles of Narnia too. The second part was terrible! A lot was changed! There was no kiss!!!

Bad things about the Lord Of The Rings, I would say, the first chapter is a real drag. But once you get past it, things speed up a little, and once they leave Rivendell, things get going. But you need to get pas those chapters before you can actually enjoy the book. It's very lame, Frodo always gets out just in time, with the help of someone or something.

Thats all that I can say. This is By Enya, the song, Only Time.

So Many Things

So many things.

I've finished my O's. Am going to school. GOT ACCEPTED!!! My school starts later than others, it'll probably end later too. Which means I probably won't be able to help prepare the House and Tree for Christmas. I am very happy I got in!! Haha!

Who reads my blog? (Besides my mum!)

I took a long time to take the tree down. I think it's coz Chinese New Year came very fast, coz usually it's in the month of February, and it came in January, so it was very fast, we didn't have time to relax and take everything down at our own time. Had a hard time taking it down by myself. I put up the lights, my sis put up the top part coz I was tired, and I took everything down. Then my brother cut it up. There was the pine smell around again. This tree was very hard to let go. Not too sure why.

I've been baking a little. I got a course in pastry and baking, I think that's why my mum's been baking a lot more with me. Wish she'd started sooner though (NOT COMPLAINING).

We baked Banana cake today. At one point I have to beat egg whites, and since we don't have an electric beater, and because I like to beat it using my hands, the hand that I was using, right hand, became red, and bigger.

Picture or it, can't really see, and I have rested a bit before this picture was taken.

It was a lot redder and bigger when I had first stopped. I'm so happy with this image. Haha!

To go into my school I had to go for an interview, and if i pass it, I have to go for and medical check up. I went for the interview, and the interviewer asked if I could follow rules. Before I went it, I had called my mum, and asked her what kind of questions they will ask. She said "Don't worry, just be yourself." So I answered without thinking, "As long as your rules are competent." Told my mum and dad, they told my brother and sister; their reactions were about the same, "Good answer." I didn't know it was a good answer when I said it!

This is how I dressed for the interview (without the bag). My mum says I look like a lesbian. I agree with her, but I like looking this way, and as long as those who care about me know I'm NOT a lesbian, I'm ok.

Then the interviewers said to check on the website if or not I'm accepted two days later. My mum checked one day after, I got in!!!!!!!! WOOOOO!!!!

I didn't believe it. I thought tht there might be a mistake, coz it wasn't two days after, it was in the afternoon; 12 hours after the interview. So my mum said, "It's like Jesus, some people know he's coming sooner, some people know he's coming later. It's all a matter of time so don't worry." :D

This is me.

This is my mum and I
